We have electric hook up, water and you are welcome to use the other facilities as our other guests, see more detail in pictures below.
Guests can take lovely walks on our property, enjoy the swimming pool or simply enjoy each other with a good glass of wine. We are happy for guests to taste our own wines in the ‘adega’ (winery) and also like to let you taste our olives, jams, etc. Wim will be happy to show you and experience the most beautiful places in the vineyard. Of course also with all the stories and explanations! It is ideal for children: not only the large swimming pool, but also discovering the forest, the vineyards, many lawns to play, the olive museum, etc. In the immediate vicinity are at least 20 castles to discover, cities to visit: Coimbra (with the famous botanical garden and the university / library / students who have modelled for Harry Potter) 15 minutes drive from us, Lisbon / Porto 5 minutes drive, Figueira da Foz (wonderful seaside resort with beautiful beaches!) 30 minutes , rafting / canoeing at 20 minutes and so many active and passive opportunities to go out daily. Food and drink in the area is very cheap and very tasty. We know the nicest places and nicest restaurants!
Quinta Chão de Lamas has 2 apartments, Casa Cabernet which is occupied and Casa Merlot which you can book here. Casa Merlot has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and overlooks the Merlot vineyards. Casa Cabernet has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, a terrace and a large garden with citrus trees, completely private.
Both are close to the swimming pool and the walking routes through the grounds and vineyards.
Holiday Home: Casa Merlot
Casa Merlot is a spacious and bright apartment, newly furnished and equipped with all comforts for a pleasant stay. This apartment has 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, kitchen, living room, dining area and terrace. It can accommodate 4 people. Completely private and secluded from the rest of the Quinta. On the edge of the Merlot vineyard, right next to the swimming pool, you will experience peace and space.
Holiday Home: Casa Cabernet is currently occupied long term
Casa Cabernet has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom adjacent to the garage, a terrace and a large garden with citrus trees, completely private. A spacious cottage style apartment with space for 5 people. A spacious living room, 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. There is 1 extra bed in the living room, for person number 5 if desired. There is also a kitchen, a terrace and a spacious garden with citrus trees. Although it is adjacent to the Quinta, it is completely private.
